Here is our add click Here Invention process 

First we did the pushchairs and then we went onto dragons den we had to choose what we were going to invent then after we chose what to make we had to make a survey and get people to fill it in and see the results so after. We could make it in real life or just show them the design then we created a speech to do in front of the class and then the teacher would choose the top three in the class then we had to do it in front of 3 classes only the top three        

The most enjoyable part was when  we got to plan our invention

The hardest part is when we had to do the speech in front of the class because i don't really like speech     
 
If i was going to do this again i will make a app on devices or improve my invention that i made today
                                               
The most breathtaking moment was when we had to do the speech in front of the class because sometimes they asked use tricky questions that we did not know 

I have learned how to add GST and what is dragons den 

The most scariest part was when i had to do the speech in front of the class because I don't really do speech's much  

The most embarrassing part was when i was doing the speech in front of the class with Tygan 

If the invention failed i would create a app on a device or a race track that can fold into a walking stick  

The most messiest part was nothing really maybe just the speech
 

Paper Planes

For maths we have made a assertion for paper planes our assertion was that the bigger the wing span the longer it will go we had made 5 paper planes and tested them these are the test results       

Buggy survey

At school for Inquiry we have made a questionnaire about buggies and we have been asking parents outside at 15 to 3:00 we all had a questionnaire and i worked with my friend Tygan we had found out that parents liked black buggies and they did not need much seats some people wanted to add a basket this our one that is color we did 6 to 10 questions but i did only 7 we have done this because we are going to design our own buggy that has not invented

Today at writing we learnt what a pangram is a pangram is an sentence that has to have all the letters in the English alphabet and has to make sense with punctuation.

Book parade

Last week we had book week at school so all the classes decorated their door from a favorite book that they have been reading at school we did it about Rat burger on Friday we were going to have book parade where we were going to dress up into a character from your favorite book or a book so i dressed up as Burt in rat burger which has the red and white t shirt 

i did not buy anything i just had a red and white t shirt and i used some black material for the hat and i just wearied black pants 

On Friday morning we went to the hall to do the parade and all the juniors went first then the seniors went.

I have been learning about percentages with fractions Like 50% as fraction is 1/2 

I have also been learning about Improper fractions to mixed numbers like if it is 20/3 as a mixed number it is 6 2/3

do 20÷ 3=6 R 2 so 6 2/3

Today 1 class including my class went to Corbans Estate Art center Henderson. 

We had been learning about Andrew Hall a Artist who makes things out of rubbish or reusable stuff. 

We took a bus in the morning and when we got there we had morning tea near the building 

After morning tea we went inside and put our bags in a pile in another room and then we rushed into the other room and sat down on a mat there was person called Amie she was going to show us what to do. At the other side of the room did excite us because it was Andrew Hall Amie told us that all the stuff were at the back of the room There were lots of rubbish and broken stuff but we all used something for our thing

We stopped at 5 past 12 and had lunch everyone came out with something After we had lunch we had to go back in the bus and go back to school when we got back it was lunch time still.

I enjoyed making my creation

It was challenging Gluing the things because some of the parts were heavy

Rapunzel Show

Today we went to the hall for a special show which we had to pay for the show for us to arrive. But all the small children went first in the morning we had to go at 11 clock straight away after morning tea when we arrived There was music going on first there was Pinocchio Then the story was about a got talent of acts then Simon the cow votes for Rapunzel but then Simon gets mean and locks Rapunzel in a tower and steals her voice but then she sees a prince which likes to rap then the prince sees Rapunzel in the tower and climbs up Rapunzel hair then they see Simon coming so then the prince climbs out and hides after that the beanstalk grows so then Rapunzel Climbs down the beanstalk and gets out but when her sister is going to win and trying to be  Rapunzel so then Rapunzel stops the music and proves it that she is the real Rapunzel by raping. 

I liked the funny bits and how they created lots of raps and included us in some bits like the raping

Today as part of maths week we did twenty challenges in a group of 4 and we would get a prize if we did team work.

Three activities we did were code breaking which was hard we did and some shapes and we learnt what prime means deficient and abundant

The difficult challenge was the maze one because 1 blue maze said stay on the right and never let go

I enjoyed working in a team and sharing ideas so we could get the next task there were 20 tasks to do

2 Pigs and the Flea

Once lived 2 pigs they were brothers born in 2002.
1 of the pigs name was Sheg and the other was Agly. Agly was the strongest and biggest from all his exercise in the past years. Agly attempted to do exercise but he failed. One day Agly went traveling somewhere in the bushes he got a itch on his ear. When he got back his brother was waiting at the their house which was made out of bricks. Once they got inside they saw a black thing jump everywhere they left it there and went to sleep while they were asleep something kept making them itch something which was small they woke up. they saw nothing it was black they had no lights they went to bed again and ignored the itch's. When it was the next day they both had red spots on each other which they both screeched at each other in pain They both went to the pig doctor called Zum. Zum said there has been fleas bouncing in their house and expanding. They had question if fleas are black and tiny? Zum groaned and said yes Agly and Sheg asked for that thing over there on the side of the building Zum said it was for free. Wearable arts journey

Today at 9 am we started our wearable arts in a group of 3 we were going to make a t shirt made out of chips or plastic bags.

before we started we had to do some drawings to get some ideas of what we will make


Afternoon
Today we had to change our costume to bubble wrap and some ripped jeans which was made out of ripped bubble wrap and we made a hat.

I found out that we did not have enough chip bags to make our costume.

I wondered if we could even make our costume with chip bags.

The most challenging bit was stapling the costume because of the pants kept on ripping the staples kept on coming off.

Now i need to paint and stabilize the costume so it can be  wearable and be taken off .

Tomorrow i will need to upgrade the t shirt and add more stuff to the jeans and t-shirt.

The most fun part was making the t shirt because we put some sticks through the shirt and making the hat.

Wearable arts is making a costume out of recyclable things and had to be able to be wearied and token off.

Yesterday my group had completed our costume and finished our hat and t shirt then we had had to sow our pants because it was ripping and we put a glasses for the hat.

We found out our pants will kept on ripping because it has holes.

working in a group is helpful because our group will have different and good ideas for making a costume for a element.

working by myself is not gonna be easy because there would not be much ideas.

Our costume does not reflect our element fire because of the hat looks like it has flames on it and a goggle and it will be painted yellow and red.

The Torbay model helps us because we remember what to do plan, reflect and do

Reflection 

Overall i feel happy about our costume because we had spray painted it yellow, orange and red.

The biggest success was the hat because it did not brake at all. 

The most enjoyable part was watching the spray paint happen.

The hardest part was stapling the pants together but then we sowed it which was kind of hard.

If i was to do this again id feel tired because of the work and i wont appreciate it.

I have learnt what wearable arts is and it is a popular fashion show at Wellington in New Zealand called WOW.

Me and my family awakened eating soaked weetbix, we were preparing to go to my Grandmas Birthday at the RSA. The RSA is like a restaurant. We had to go to our grandmas birthday at Browns Bay next to her apartment.

We had to go to our Grandmas Birthday in a public place called the RSA it was located at Browns Bay. But the food were poor and the deals were too much it was a bad deal. When we got there we arrived at 1:30 next we  had to go up the stairs to the public room full of people gobbling their meal.

Our seat was at the back near the window then grandma spoke‘’we better get our meal at the front’’ where the entrance is. It seemed that there was not much staff working at this time. We got each a meal we had to wait for the notice to speak our number out.

Our number was announced so we trampled down the room to the entrance next we had to carry it back. then we Started gobbling our meals slow because it was an unacceptable taste after our meals we got dessert i got a free ice cream.

After we finished our desserts we had a little time talking to each other then we marched down stairs. Grandma's friend took the elevator. When we got down outside we all said bye bye to each other and we all went back home.

Squash

Squash

 This week i have been doing squash at school.

Squash started on Monday we learnt how to play and how to hit the ball with the racket we didn't practice with the real ball that opponents use in real squash. In real squash they have black balls which the better level you are in real squash you get different ones but when i was playing we were playing with an soft ball we had some soft balls like tennis balls but just soft but we did not really learn much how to use tricks but we learnt an trick for the racket how to hit the soft ball. An real squash ball looks like this 

In Squash my learning was about how people play squash. 

I found out how to hit the ball with the racket. 

I wondered if the people in real Squash use different rackets. 

The most difficult thing was to hit the ball against the teacher teaching us hot to play.

Now i know how to play squash. 

My next step is to not hit the ball before it bounces. 

The most fun part was playing against different people in my class.

In Music My learning was about how to make te rakau sticks.

I found out that a song was about a man who kept lying.

I wondered if the man made it to a village.

The most difficult thing to cut a magazine to make Te Rakau sticks. 

Now i know some Maori songs and How to make Te Rakau sticks.  

My next step is to make the Te Rakau sticks more tighter.  

The most fun part was Taping the Te Rakau sticks to match the other.

Lactic Turkey is an fun day for children testing their learning of Sustainability Lactic Turkey was held at Long Bay beach 9:00 to 12:30 There was prize giving at the end. It was raining in the middle.

This is us

Before we went we were put in to groups of 4 and we had an parent shadowing us looking after us. The hardest part was running because we had to run a distance to get as many points to win but there were also other schools competing

We wearied mufti because we would of got dirty if we went to school we would of got told off by all the dirt we were drenched when it rained as heavy it started spiting first then started raining heavy.

The easiest part was finding things hidden behind stuff on trees and finding 2 digit codes and maybe bigger numbers on power lines we had to wear a plastic thing for a number we were number 52 there was me Tygan Kaitlyn Oscar.

Tread lightly caravan

This week my learning has been: to save earth by recycling paper and with out using so many materials. 

I found out that phones could be recycled and copper is inside a phone and computers. 

I wondered if an iPad could get recycled like a phone. 

The most difficult thing was the winding one to power the smoothie maker but there was nothing in it.

Now i know that that instillation helps keep the homes warm without the heat at night going through the roof and the sun heats instillation for night.

My next steps are to recycle more and walk or use a bike and scooter and use the other side of the paper instead of one.

I enjoyed using the solar powered bug and the fan and light from the sun's energy. 

The fun part was powering the lights with the power bike and the winding.

Cochlear implants are hearing device's which help some people that are deaf. But first before you get it you have to have an operation that may cause headaches or ringing in your ears and it is very expensive to get it installed on you. If you know how to speak and you are deaf and the cochlear implant is too expensive. You could lip read or use deaf language. but cochlear implants have batteries that will have to be change most often.

 i dislike the blending of the color's i like the back ground of my Koru.

3. How would you make a better Koru next time?
by blending warm colors  together on the Koru's.

I enjoyed Koru's because you got to blend colors and use pastels and get better at art. 

5. What did you learn about art through making a Koru? eg: color/shape etc ........ 
I learnt what a Koru is and how to blend pastels together.

A Koru looks like this

1. Put 4 squares in a book then draw a Koru in each box
2.   Chose which one you like that you draw'ed in the 4 boxes. 
3. In a full page draw a big Koru that may full the hole page or half the page you may want to draw a background to make it colorful in the back ground.  
4. Then get some pastels and get a bigger piece of paper and so draw the one you did last time, in the piece of paper and the back ground.
5. Next get the pastels and color in the Koru's and the back ground not the same color as the Koru's on the piece of paper.      
6. Do the out line black of the Koru's so you don't mix the colors.
7. Color in the back ground next so you color in the hole piece of paper.
8.        Now you are finished
